My Tria Laser Has Been Ordered!
After much indecision, I have finally ordered my own Tria Laser Hair Removal system!
First I’ll start with why I wanted a form of permanent hair removal, or even reduction.
- I’m tired of the almost 30 minutes of daily tweezing. And this is just on my chin and neck! As I’ve gotten older, the amount of hair has increased and so in turn has my length of time in front of the makeup mirror. Frankly, I’m tired of it. I could put that time to much better use!
- In addition to the tweezing in front of the makeup mirror, I also spend a lot of time shaving my underarms and legs. No more hair, or even less hair there would be welcome. I currently have to shave every day in order to not have stubble.
- Dealing with my bikini area is a nightmare – enough said.
Now on to why I felt laser hair removal was the best option for me:
- I’m the perfect candidate for laser hair removal. I have very light skin and very dark hair. Any hair removal laser works best with this combination.
- Compared to electrolysis, laser hair removal covers a larger area at one time and the number of treatments is less. I also understand it is less painful.
So why the at home Tria Laser Hair Removal system?
- I looked into the cost of having laser hair removal done at spas and doctor’s offices. It’s expensive! Plus, the number of treatments varies per person and so you can’t know the exact cost up front. And what if you have one stubborn hair that requires lots of treatments? Just too many unknowns here. Plus I worried about the staff’s training and whether I could be burned. I liked the idea of doing it myself at home.
- Tria is FDA approved, which is something that is important to me.
- When I first looked into Tria over a year ago, the cost of the unit still seemed high to me. When I saw the price drop to around $500, I knew it was time for me to take the plunge.
- I bought my Tria from a retailer with a generous return policy. I knew if I couldn’t handle the pain, I could return it with no problems.
So, I’ve placed my order and now all I have to is wait for it arrive. More posts will be forthcoming on my Tria laser experience.
