It starts working the first time you use it, but because of the hair growth cycle this is a “long-term process” as stated in the TRIA laser manual. After the first use, you really won’t notice much of a change at all. Actually, you’ll think that the hair is growing and some say that notice even faster growth. But what you are seeing is not actual growth, but the hair being pushed out. It can take up to two weeks for these hairs to be pushed out.

After eight months of treatment with the home laser, you will have smooth skin and only occasionally need touch ups. It took a while, but totally worth it!
